Laura was amazing after I had my baby. She helped me stay calm when I was stressed and helped me so much around the house so I could rest. She assisted with bath time, guided me with feedings, and provided a sleep training schedule. She's very knowledgeable! I highly recommend her!

When the time came to give birth to my beautiful baby, I was going through a lot of emotions, excitement but I also had a lot of anxiety. Having Laura as my doula made the process easier. She took care of me through the entire process, she helped me with pain management, prepared a special bath for me and gave me a massage to help me relax, she walked me through a couple of exercises to release pressure, to manage pain and tension, to feel better, and I did. I was able to be as relaxed as I could and cope with the pain of contractions and go through the process very organically, until it was time to go to the Hospital and give birth. Laura never left my side—she was so positive, calm and reassuring, and very caring. She was a fundamental part of a beautiful birth experience!

Let me start by saying that if we had the opportunity to hire Laura again we would do so in a heartbeat. We hired Laura to help care for our newborn and, when available, to help with our now 4-year-old daughter, and we couldn't have asked for a better caregiver. She's very knowledgeable and stays current on techniques/studies/trends in caring for babies, whether it's re: sleep conditioning, sleep training, etc. My now near 4-month-old sleeps better than our first child ever did which I attribute to the conditioning that Laura started very early. I could ask her about anything and she'd have the answer for me immediately, and often recommend items for me to get that worked very effectively (e.g. a miracle swaddle I didn't know existed). She was punctual, dependable, very pleasant, and quickly felt like a member of the family.

Laura was always extremely quick in her responses (phone calls and texts). She made me more knowledgeable about "wake windows", helped me create a bedtime routine, educated me about appropriate play for my baby's developmental stage, and gave me guidance on how to better arrange my baby's sleep environment to optimize sleep and create better habits. I felt confident in Laura's credentials, and I feel that she is trustworthy and very passionate about her work. And most importantly in my experience with Laura was that my baby responded well to her calming energy. Laura was a pleasure to work with.

I highly recommend Laura as a sleep consultant. My 2.5 month old was an adventure baby whose wake windows were like 5+ hours on the regular. I thought my baby just didn't really nap, thus I was living life sleepwalking in random increments and tending to baby every time he cried. Laura came to sit one time and to my complete surprise, he had solid naps not just when she was here but he had solid naps 2-3 times a day for the entire week after. We did 2 weeks of sleep training with her. My little one made progress immediately; his longest stretch grew to 11 hours after 1 week. Sometimes he wakes up but he just looks around, thinking about what he has to do tomorrow, then falls asleep. It feels like a miracle. This is the most crucial investment we've made for our child so far. We couldn't be more grateful.
