I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. I was the little girl that always wanted to meet the new babies in the neighborhood—cousins, family, friends, and neighbors. I loved to feed them or just hold them. When I got older I started babysitting and I loved it!
My family and I moved to the U.S. when I was 18 years old and that’s when I started my career as a preschool teacher. I transitioned to working as a nanny, and for over 12 years I have had the opportunity to work with many amazing families. Each of them—from tiny little babies to special needs bundles of joy—still hold a special place in my heart, and I stay in contact with every one of them!
My love for children and especially newborn babies has continued to grow over time, as has my desire to help families in their journey as new parents. For this reason, a few years ago I became a certified birth and postpartum doula. As a doula I have seen firsthand the struggles many parents go through adapting to life with a newborn. This led me to my newest passion as a newborn care specialist (NCS). My goal is to help you adapt to these new and exciting changes with confidence, advocate for you and your family, and have a positive impact on your birth and post -birth experience.
I am so privileged to have been able to meet and build wonderful relationships with so many wonderful families. I can’t wait to meet yours!
